A mist collector started operation when M/C was turned on and stopped when M/C was turned off. However, M/C in operation stops for various reasons such as “workpiece removal / attachment”, “tool change”, “ abnormal stop”, etc.
Even though some mist collectors don’t turn on and off depending on M/C, and although mist is not generated, M/C is in operation all the time, resulting in a lot of waste.
By installing a control board to stop a mist collector when mist is not being generated and operating it only when necessary, a system saves power and thus contributes to reducing CO2 emissions.
