Harassment Prevention Policy

Basic Policy

We believe that harassment in the workplace as an act that unfairly undermines the dignity of individual employees leads to a deterioration of their physical and mental health, disrupts workplace order, decreases productivity and negative impact on the company's image.

We have established this policy to build relationships of trust among employees and healthy and vibrant workplaces.

Activity Guidelines

  1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations and Morals
We create workplaces that respect human rights and individuality and embraces diverse values on the basis of one of our Management Philosophies, “Sincerity” and one of our Basic Management Policies, “Harmony in the Workplace.”
We take a hard line on acts that undermine personal dignity and health such as discriminatory language and behavior, various forms of harassment and acts of violence for this reason.
  2. Development of Management System
We have established an external harassment consultation desk. If specific facts are confirmed, we will promptly address the problem and work to prevent its recurrence.
We will protect the privacy of those involved and will not disadvantage them in handling of consultations on the grounds of the content of consultation or cooperation provided in confirmation of facts.
  3. Establishment of related regulations and implementation of measures
We will take strict actions against harassers in accordance with Employment Regulations. We take necessary measures to improve work conditions and work environment of victims such as transfer of harassers.
  4. Providing Relevant Education
We carry out awareness-raising activities and training to ensure that directors and employees understand the importance of preventing harassment in the workplace.
  5. Implementation of Measures
We strive to take measures that reflect the opinions of labor and management by holding discussions with the Safety and Health Committee and the Employee Council (or the employee representatives) as needed. We also make efforts to implement fair measures based on the opinions of third parties, such as industrial physicians and legal advisors.
