The flexible tool stage can be attached to a microscope to hold tools for photographing. The components are additively manufactured CFRP products, with high strength-to-weight ratio, and are lightweight yet capable of holding long products and products equipped with holders, also no risk of damaging the tool upon contacts.
Attachment/detachment, to the microscope, of the holding table are all done without tools.

Background
- The following problems have been encountered in imaging operations using microscopes.
- The stage is too small to photograph large objects for measurement.
- Unable to photograph if the tools are chucked in holders.
- Work tools (e.g. wrenches) are required for operation.
- The Conventional jig is heavy and are made of metal, and there is a risk of damaging when it contacts contact with the object.
- Since the object to be measured cannot be fixed, repeating takes time and the photo quality largely depends the operators.

- The components are additively manufactured CFRP products, with a high strength-to-weight ratio, which are lightweight yet capable of holding long products or even products chucked in holders.
- The use of resin body reduces the risk of scratches when contacting with the object being measured or with other equipment.
- No tool is required attaching stages to a microscope, replacing stands to hold different products.
- Since products are properly fixed onto the stage, the photo shooting is easily repeatable, with the same quality even by different operators.
